2. Offset
To make you Carbon Neutral, Sphere funds verified United Nations carbon offset projects which include renewable energy and tree planting schemes.

For each project Sphere supports, Sphere is provided with a certificate from the UN to evidence the exact tonnes of Greenhouse gasses (CO2e) removed as a result of our support. Please refer to our evidence page for proof of the amount of Greenhouse Gases we have helped to remove from the atmosphere.
Our Carbon Footprint calculations capture your country’s total Greenhouse Gas emissions including emissions on imported goods. We then divide the total emissions per annum by the population to give an average Carbon Footprint per person.
3. Evidence
For every tonne of CO2e that Sphere offsets, the UN will provide us with a certificate as proof of our contribution.
We publish all of this evidence on our Evidence Page.
